If you are yoga teacher or curious student interested in exploring the new frontier of fascia and gaining powerful tools for tissue transformation both on and off the mat, this course is for you.

In this 3 day training, you will learn how to enhance the health and resilience of your (and your students’) soft tissues through the practices and teachings of yoga. You’ll leave with an understanding of the myofascial body, the role it plays in an active, healthy lifestyle and injury prevention practices that will empower you on both personal and professional levels.  The course is 30% lecture and 70% practice.

 After this course, you will:

  • Understand the unique characteristics of fascia (to include its role in movement and fitness) as contrasted to muscle;
  • Receive cutting-edge updates based on the Fascial Research Congress held in September 2015;
  • Confidently talk about fascia with students and colleagues;
  • Easily identify major fascial regions of the spine and the structures of breath and their unique fascial convergences;
  • Learn movement flows which illuminate concepts of Fascial Fitness™, Fascial Stretch Therapy™ , TriYoga flows and hand mudra flows to include in your classes and privates sessions;
  • Use new language to cue fascial responsiveness as you sequence class flow;
  • Confidently demonstrate/teach small group fascial flow sequences;
  • Instill more grace, fluidity and self-awareness into your teaching, your practice, and your life.
